Most of what we make is plastic, and we can get parts made in metal when plastic is not the answer. If your part goes inside a patient or a sterile field, we are the wrong shop and will tell you so on the first email.
How it works

Send us what you have
If you still have the part, send it. Broken, worn, or perfectly intact, it all works, and it ships back with the new one. If it is lost, or it never existed, then photos with a ruler in the frame, a STEP file, or the thing it has to fit will do. If you are in the Los Angeles area we can come measure the equipment ourselves.

We model it and quote it
You get a price and a ship date before anything gets printed. Turnaround depends entirely on the part, so we do not publish a number we would have to walk back. If printing is the wrong answer for your part, we say so instead of taking the job.

We print it and check the fit
Every part gets measured before it leaves, against the original where there is one and against the dimensions we agreed where there is not. Then it ships, with your sample if you sent one, to whoever needs to install it.

Biomed and clinical engineering
A working analyzer, centrifuge, or cart is down over one cracked or missing part, which went end of life two revisions ago.

M3D Parts makes non-patient-contact, non-implant parts for medical, laboratory, and industrial equipment. We are not a medical device manufacturer. We hold no quality system certification and no regulatory clearance, and we make no biocompatibility or sterilization claims. Validating a part for your application is your call to make. That scope is deliberate. The documentation and validation regulated manufacturing requires is real work with real cost, and not carrying it is what keeps our price and our turnaround times down.
