M3D Parts Replacement parts for equipment nobody supports anymore

The part is discontinued. The machine is not.

We reverse-engineer and print the single part your equipment needs, for the cases where the OEM stopped making it, quoted you four months, or will only sell it inside a whole assembly.

What we make

  • Housings and covers
  • Knobs, dials, and grips
  • Brackets and mounts
  • Trays, racks, and carriers
  • Guides and rollers
  • Standoffs and spacers
  • Alignment fixtures
  • Panel and door latches
  • Discontinued OEM plastics
  • Adapters between equipment generations
  • Holding fixtures for bench work
  • One-off parts that never existed

Most of what we make is plastic, and we can get parts made in metal when plastic is not the answer. If your part goes inside a patient or a sterile field, we are the wrong shop and will tell you so on the first email.

How it works

  1. Send us what you have

The broken original is best, and it ships back with the new part. Photos with a ruler in the frame work too. So does a STEP file if you already have one. If you are in the Los Angeles area we can come measure the equipment ourselves.

  2. We model it and quote it

You get a price and a ship date before anything gets printed. Turnaround depends entirely on the part, so we do not publish a number we would have to walk back. If printing is the wrong answer for your part, we say so instead of taking the job.

  3. We print it and check the fit

Every part gets measured against the original before it leaves. Then it ships, with your sample, to whoever needs to install it.

Who calls us

Biomed and clinical engineering

A working analyzer, centrifuge, or cart is down over one cracked housing, and the part number went end of life two revisions ago.

Labs and research groups

An instrument that was half custom when it arrived, now needing a rack, holder, or fixture that no catalog has ever carried.

Industrial and facilities

One bracket, one guide, one obsolete cover. Nobody wants to sell a quantity of one, and the tooling for it was scrapped years ago.

Send us the part number and a photo.

If we cannot help, you will know within a day and it costs you nothing.

M3D Parts makes non-patient-contact, non-implant parts for medical, laboratory, and industrial equipment. We are not a medical device manufacturer. We hold no quality system certification and no regulatory clearance, and we make no biocompatibility or sterilization claims. Validating a part for your application is your call to make.
